JCU Kiteboarding Club

The club provides the cheapest kitebording instructions in Australia. It has existed since 2005 and has now become one of the biggest University clubs. We are offering free SUP and Kite Demos to Club Members.

The club does trips to Reef Islands, Alva, Lucinda, Hinchinbrook Island and Papua New Guinea. Inquire at jcukiteboardingclub@gmail.com if you would like to come along.

We also do a lot of social events, parties, music concerts and other fun stuff, which usually includes a yearly club party. This year it will be combined with the Australian Kiteboarding National Titles at Alva Beach from the 22nd to the 25th April. This will be a HUGE one!!

Club Membership is $30 per year.

Please note that you have to be a club member to be allowed to kite in Pallarenda under CASA permit.
