International Pro Rider: Andy Yates (Slingshot/Mystic, 5

The aim of the Kiteboarding clinics are to help you advance to your next personal level at your own pace. The instructors will guide you, giving you professional tips and helping you achieve your goals. We will have video cameras set up to film and analyse, as well as training bars to demonstrate.

We will split the groups up into different progression levels of learning.

th PKRA 2009), Tom Ryan (North), Rico Croon (North) and Anja Reuthe (Core) will run the clinics. 3

You will be able to learn anything from jumping technique to inverted handle-passes.

On the next day we run the analysis of the taken video footage and go back out for a final clinic on the 9

th.

Gear Demo:

Check out all 2010 Gear and give it a ride. BEST, OZONE, CORE, CABRINHA, NORTH, JN and XENON equipment to demo.

Freestyle/ Big Air Comp

Andy Yates, Rico Croon and Tom Ryan will be judging the freestyle heats.

Anybody can go out and boost as big as possible and we select the best/biggest boost, and the longest hangtime of the day.

Awesome prizes for the winner.

Boarder Cross:

This will be the first ever kiteboarding race in North Queensland!

The Boarder X is sure to challenge racer's skills, endurance, and speed around a demanding course. Course racers must maintain high speed over distances, with upwind and downwind legs, while fending off other competitors. We will have a pre-race meeting to layout the designated course to the competitors, as well as go over the standard racing rules that will be in effect. We will use the same rules as made official by the ISAF.

www.sailing.org

The course will be set up in a triangle. Among the course set up with floating markers to distinguish the course map, there will be an additional boarder cross style inflatable barrier that must be cleared. We plan to run a series of qualifying heats, followed by the finals.

We have a special price for the winner.

Good luck, BORDER - X COURSE RACING promises to be a very demanding, high adrenaline competition where anybody can win. Any type of board and equipment is allowed.

The tide will be at 2.1m at 4pm and incoming so all your big racing fins should have plenty of water
